Helping to Deliver the Corps of the Future

Deliver the Corps of the Future

Our democracy requires that some men and women be willing to protect and defend freedom by dedicating their lives to the profession of arms and national security.  Gifts to the UNG Corps of Cadets through the Georgia Gold American Treasure Initiative helps attract, educate, and prepare men and women for this purpose.

The Corps Advisory Council (CAC) engages alumni and friends of the Corps in a genuine partnership dedicated to Deliver the Corps of the Future, serving as the philanthropic support group for the Superintendent of the Cadet Leadership Academy.

UNG RISE Giving Campaign Supports Cadet Scholarships

It’s Time to RISE - Scholarships help to change the lives of UNG Cadets. According to the Boar’s Head Brigade Commander, Cadet Colonel Tyson Rumley, a senior majoring in Criminal Justice and the recipient of the UNG COL Jack Peevy Scholarship, “Because of the generosity of more than 750 donors, almost 400 cadets received private scholarships to attend or reenroll at UNG. By relieving some of the financial burden of college, cadets can fully immerse themselves in academics, their responsibilities in the Corps, and take advantage of many extra and co-curricular opportunities available on and off campus”.

This year’s UNG RISE features these Cadet Scholarships: NGC Class of 1975 ScholarshipThe Eagle Fund Endowed ScholarshipWilliam T. “Bill” Porter Memorial Scholarship Fund
