Scholarship Fundraiser

Welcome to Oconeefest 2024! You are cordially invited to attend the annual Oconeefest scholarship fundraiser held on the front lawn of the Oconee campus on October 17, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 pm.

While the need for student scholarships is greater than ever, the beauty of Oconeefest is that the local and regional communities come together to relax, laugh, and enjoy good food with neighbors while celebrating scholarship and uplifting students who need financial support to achieve their goal of completing their degrees.

There will be much good food and raffles for donated items from local, regional, and national businesses, from chambers of commerce, from faculty and staff, and from the many friends of UNG-Oconee. Corporate sponsorships along with individual contributions will enable us to award scholarships to students from our area who attend any of UNG’s five campuses. Funds raised at Oconeefest will help many students realize their educational and career goals. These scholarships may be used for tuition, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other expenses which means your support is critical to the student experience and gives UNG students from our area the best chance to succeed.
