The UNG Strategic Planning Steering Committee has recently completed the overall strategic plan for the university. An implementation committee will take up the task of designing specific goals and objectives for each operational unit of the university to achieve these overall strategic goals.
One of the commitments included in the strategic plan is to publish an ongoing list of priority funding initiatives for UNG. As this list is being assembled into a format that will be easy to understand, we will update this site periodically.
In the meantime, the #1 PRIORITY for funding at UNG is Student Scholarships. An important part of our mission is to expand access to quality higher education to produce more highly educated workers to support the growing and changing economy of Georgia and the nation. For many students, a major part of accessibility is affordability.

As tuition and fees continue to increase at a modest rate, and state funding for higher education continues to decline, the only way we can ensure that a college education remains affordable is to provide access to privately funded scholarship grants for those students who need them.
Privately funded scholarships also help us provide merit-based scholarships to attract the most academically qualified, high-ability students to UNG.
Whether you fund a scholarship award annually or establish a permanent scholarship endowment, your gift makes a difference. Whether you wish to contribute to academic or athletic scholarships, or scholarships for fine arts or the Corps of Cadets, for undergraduate students or graduate students, your gift will directly impact someone’s future.
